We traded our traditional wedding for an elopement on Mt. Rainier in 2017, and this is where my journey in telling stories through a camera was born.
My photography is a love letter to you. It’s like hot cheeks against a cold wind, like a fleeting glance that feels like home, like rain drops on the windows on the car ride back.

The greatest compliment I can receive, is for my photos to make it to your memory-filled shoebox.
Being featured on Instagram, Facebook, etc. isn’t my primary goal (although necessary today to find people like you). I hope to make it into your shoebox in the dark corner of your closet, seeing the light of day periodically through all seasons of life.
The framed photos on your walls will rotate to new ones. What you post online will become buried over time. But thumbing through the printed photos in the myriads of shoeboxes and albums from my mom’s closet is a core memory that is just as important today as it was 15 years ago.
Photography and capturing that essence of ‘you’ is one of the few things in life that increase in value with age. The over-bubbling excitement we feel today from getting your gallery from your photographer evolves into heart-warming nostalgia, into eye-watering love for who we once were and the dreams we used to have. The value of your photos change as who we share them with inevitably changes over time, new eyes unconsciously building their own narrative of your experiences.
All of my work comes from this belief first and foremost. We’re bottling the little moments that make us who we are, just… a bit elevated from our parent’s polaroid days.
Small Wedding & Couples Photography for Introverts
I photograph because of you. For the people who don’t feel comfortable in front of a camera, but have a wealth of love to share just underneath the surface. I’ve found that most photographers are the bubbly and out-going kind, and I have a different approach for people like us. My photography is catered to introverts in these ways:
Getting to know ‘you’ first and foremost in a quiet way, your personality, habits, and hobbies that are important to you
An emphasis on the candid and natural moments. I give you your space to be yourself first, posed photography isn’t necessary.
My camera shutter is silent. Nothing is worse to me than your moments being underscored by the constant click of a camera shutter and jarring you out of your peace.
Fly on the wall energy. I don’t need to be your hype-girl or screaming from the rooftops for you. Instead, I’m your quietly artistic soul mate that’s making a Spotify playlist inspired by you as soon you book with me.
