A military homecoming ceremony

A nearly year-long deployment culminated in a loving reunion in each others arms.

On my way there, military personnel helped me find Ben’s arrival point and they referred to the homecoming as ‘the ceremony’. I never thought of it that way, but that’s exactly what it is, a ceremony. Jayden was so sweet and so nervous to see him after so long, but I think the wait was worth it.
