A foggy & free-spirited elopement on the Washington Coast.

Should I call this an elopement or a vow renewal? Here’s the story:

These two ‘redid’ their wedding with Blake and I on a Washington beach in La Push. Like I’ve heard a hundred times before, they kind of wished they had eloped instead. But it’s honestly never too late to have the wedding you’ve always dreamed of. Who says you can’t get married twice?

We hiked in to the beach just before sunrise. With head lamps on, the streams of light caught quiet raindrops as we gathered our gear. We made it to the ocean just as the darkness turned blue.

And we had a quiet ceremony above the tide pools.
