Tali & Zack
Waking up at 7am to meet these two for a forest engagement session, I was met with a wall of fog on the drive there.
It was going to be a good day.
With coffee in hand (thanks Tali, girl you’re the best) we got to talking about day-to-day life as they showed me around to their favorite spots for a change. After reflecting back and meditating on this session as I do for every session, Tali and Zack really taught me that photography is a form of self care.
Getting out and going for a walk on a brisk morning, experiencing something new, and being present with the one you love. All while freezing moments that capture a love that you have built, something that means more to you than can ever be accurately described to someone else. Because you deserve to be photographed. You deserve to take a break and reflect on what you have built and sown and weeded and cherished.
Tali & Zack are two of the most open and kindhearted people I have had the pleasure of knowing, while simultaneously being the most outrageous puppy-love goofballs I need. Going through their photos and reliving their love for each other is therapy, especially during this time of world-wide quarantine.
