Moody Portraits in Olympic National Forest
Witches wear Doc Martens too.
Every time I drive in to the Olympic National Forest, I can suddenly breathe easy. Something about the cloud covered hills, endless trees and ferns, and the comfort of rain that makes me feel at home more than anywhere else.
It was an obvious choice for Chelsea and her dog Chandler. On a quiet afternoon, we dove into our witchy creativity, free to be ourselves and play in the moody Pacific Northwest forests. Old growth trees, a cabin we wish we could live in, ferns up to our shoulders, and mysterious lake shores where anything could swimming beneath.
As it grew dark (as it always does faster than you’d expect in the Olympic National Forest), we pulled out the lanterns to continue our journey before the day ended.
